10 ways we are destroying our Inner Body Ecology

We are concerned with the world ecology so on November 1st we celebrate World Day of Ecology, to remember throughout the planet the importance of knowing and valuing the relationships that exist between living beings and their environment, and raise awareness among our people about the importance of maintaining a harmonious relationship with our environment.

This is fine and necessary.

However are we aware of the ecology of our own body? Our body also has its ecology inside us. We are completely ignorant about it. Celebrate the World Ecology Day but also become aware of our body’s ecology.

Our body’s ecology is ruined by our ignorance.

Author of the book, Silent Spring, Rachel Carson, wrote, ”We are destroying the ecological balance of our planet by adding a chemical to our crops. He wrote about how pesticides are seeping into our food and water affecting our health and health of our future generations.”

“Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint.” Mark Twain

Forget blaming others for pesticides. What about our own ecology within our body which we are destroying by our bad food choices and habits. No one else is responsible.

“It is easier to change a man’s religion than to change his diet.” Margaret Mead.

Our body ecology is destroyed because:

  • We don’t know what to eat.
  • We don’t know how much to eat.
  • We don’t know about the good and bad combination of the foods.
  • We don’t know about balancing of food like Acidic and Alkaline.
  • We don’t know about nutritious and nonnutritious useless food.
  • We don’t know about the science of eating.
  • We don’t know about the harmful effect of Sugar (good for noting and bad for everything).
  • We don’t know the harmful impact of fast food on our body.
  • We don’t know the harmful effect of medicines especially antibiotic.
  • We don’t know the harmful effect of stress on our digestive system.

We don’t know anything about the food we eat. We just eat to satisfy our tongue. We care less about our stomach and internal organs who are suffering due to our irresponsible eating. Our irresponsible eating makes our pancreas, liver, heart, bones, and colon, to suffer. Malfunction of body organ leads to diseases like;

  • Obesity
  • Heart Disease
  • Diabetes
  • Stomach Disorder
  • Osteoporosis
  • Liver disease
  • High Blood Pressure

Our food if we choose properly and smartly have the power to heal the body, alternatively reckless eating can make us sick and age faster.

“No disease that can be treated by diet should be treated with any other means.” Maimonides.

Health Insurance can’t save you from the disease, pain associated with the disease and degeneration of your body organs.

Be a smart dieter and know the impact of what you are eating. Ignorance is not bliss but foolishness at least for our diet is concerned.
