We have all kinds of coaches from life coach to career coach to business coach to swimming coach to math coach and many other coaches. We don’t have a permanent Wellness Coach. Our health is at the mercy a doctor when our body refuses to work or gives worrying signals.

On one hand, we have an epidemic of lifestyle diseases like Diabetes, Obesity, Heart Diseases, Backache, Spinal Degeneration, and even Mental Disorders and on the other hand, our food and lifestyle habits are becoming unsustainable. Queues at doctors’ clinics are getting longer. Medical treatment and insurance cost are increasing. The waiting period for a doctor’s appointment is getting longer day by day.

Yet we are in slumber. Both Governments and Individually, we are acting lethargic. We are waiting for a disease to strike us for us to get into the motion.

To make the healthcare burden lesser and to make the society fitter, a new category of a coach is now necessary. Wellness Coach is the answer to our mammoth health care problems.

Wellness Coach is a combination of Fitness Coach, Diet Coach and Emotional Coach. What we eat, our physical exercise and our emotional well-being all need to be in sync for us to remain a fit person. Anyone not in sync can hamper our health. Wellness Coach is the person who can coach us on all the three vital aspects of fitness.

Without the effective wellness coaching, all other coachings will become a handicap.

Recently, one of my new clients told me,” I eat very less and yet I am gaining weight.”  Eating less to lose weight is a misconception. But most of us are living with it. We make unsustainable lifestyle changes of our own without expert advice and then suffer.

We have no clue about ideal eating practices, what to eat, how much to eat, when to eat, how much to exercise and which exercise, we have no control over our emotional wellbeing. When we are physically and mentally ill, we struggle in almost every aspect of life.

  5. To avoid pain and agony of the treatments
  6. To avoid family members suffer due to your illness
  7. To avoid pressure on the unsustainable health care system
  8. To live happily and fit life
  9. To make your family happy

We don’t need artificial laughing clubs, what we need is a sustainable Wellness. That is possible with Wellness Coaching.  The problem is no one realises they need a Wellness Coach but in reality, everyone needs one.
